We are seeking a talented and passionate Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our team to provide high-quality psychiatric care to our patients. The PA-C will work collaboratively with our team to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions in an outpatient setting.

You will be collaborating with a managing psychiatrist to provide consistent and quality treatment to patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of new and existing patients
- Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Certification in Psychiatry/Mental Health from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Previous experience in psychiatry or mental health preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in psychiatry are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
